This is my take on a recipe from another blogger.
I have adapted it to what I had when making it
It is a prepare ahead recipe as it needs marinating time.
Ingredients Serves 1
2 Chicken Drumsticks
1 Orange Rind and Juice
1Tb Tamari Gluten Free Soy
1/8tsp White Pepper
1/8tsp Himalayan Pink Salt
1 Star Anise
My Serving Options:
1/ Mixed Organic Leaves
2/ Baked Pumpkin & Steamed Green Beans
Grate 1/2 the rind of 1 orange over the drum sticks
Add 1/2 qty of remaining ingredients over drumsticks evenly
Turn drumsticks then repeat process
Marinate in covered container with lid for minimum 2 hours.
1/ Place in microwave Steamer cook on High for 6 minutes
2/ Bake in 180* C Oven for 20 minutes with only drumsticks on tray but keep marinade
then brush with marinade all over and turn drumsticks and continue to cook further 20 minutes
or until juices run clear of the thickest part of the drumstick.
