BBQ Chicken Lasagne

I wanted to make lasagne but didn’t have mince, so I used a BBQ Chicken I had got earlier that day.

I made a large batch for a weeks worth meals.  Paired it with different vegetables or on its own.

I picked up the sauce jars for cheaper than grocery store at the reject shop which ended up being a cheap meal.

Ingredients serves 8

1 box Lasagne Sheets

1 BBQ Chicken

1 Jar Dolmio Pasta Sauce

1 Jar Béchamel Sauce

1 Cup Grated Tasty Cheese

1TB Nutmeg Grated

 

Method

Preheat oven 180*C

Pull the meat off the chicken then cut smaller so no large chunks

Layer 4 lasagne sheets in bakeing tray

Mix Chicken with pasta sauce then  spread over the lasagne sheets

Place 4 more sheets on top then layer evenly with the Béchamel sauce

Sprinkle over cheese then nutmeg

Bake in oven for 20-25 minutes until sheets are soft and cooked through

Serve with Salad or Steamed Vegetables, Garlic Bread or on its own

Let it cool slightly before cutting into 8 slices. Can be frozen for later meals.

I froze mine in individual serve sizes in airtight containers with lids.
