BBQ Pork Steak with Mash and Peas

4 ingredients and dinner was done.

The BBQ Sauce was a brand my mum would use all the time.

It was on special this week so I got it and it was one of those food memories you go “Yes I’m Home again!” even though it has been probably 40 yrs since I had it last.

Ingredients serves 2

2 Pork Fillet Steaks with bone

1 Cup Green Peas Frozen

1/4 Packet instant mash potato (Edgell brand)

4TB  Eta BBQ Sauce

 

Method

Place 1 Tb of BBQ Sauce on each side of the steak and let it marinade in bowl or zip lock bag for 20 minutes

When ready to cook place into non stick skillet and cook to your liking turn after 2-3 minutes

Make mash according to directions on packet

Place peas into microwave dish with 1TB water and cook for 3minutes

Serve Hot (you can reheat plate of food for 1 minute to rewarm it)
